The entry of a lecturer who has a soft corner for the boy, changes things around. first of all I regret wasting my time watching this movie. I watched it because a friend recommended it saying "It's hilarious". And because i love comedy movies, so I watched it immediately. First of all, I can say that actors were trying to make comedy in the movie but they failed. I actually laughed in one or two scenes but the rest were boring. Away from the comedy part I think this movie was made in a period when Indian movies were still toooooooooo exaggerating. I mean when you watch the fights you will say WTF!!!!!!!!!!! I mean these moves are accepted in something like "The Matrix", "The One", …… etc But in a comedy/romance movie? C'mon guys it is not acceptable. I can say that the story is good but all these other things made it disappear in a bad context. I don't recommend watching this movie. This was a film which was worth a watch as Vijay has deviated from his masala style and Genelia has become a gem in Tamil Cinema. The plot is good and Vadivel's comedy is worth a watch especially the parts where he tries to impress Genelia. Bipasha Basu has not acted properly and this could place her at a low point on Kollywood. Another drawback is Santhanam's acting and looks. He would have looked better without that huge mustache and he is supposed to be a comedian which he is not in this movie. The climax was not well written and there are a few more drawbacks which the director and producer could have adjusted to make the film exceptionable.
